Well, by now it’s obvious. iPhone 4 is the Windows Vista of iPhones. It’s horrible, Apple’s trying to hock it off, and the predecessor, the iPhone 3GS, blows it out of the water. Replace “Apple’s” with “Microsoft was” and “iPhone 3GS” with “Windows XP” and I just described Vista. But Apple’s got one small advantage – the Apple fanbase is completely fucking retarded. We’ve all seen them before – those pages that are like “OMG WTF SOMETHING HAPPENED” (or “OMG WTF THIS CELEBRITY SUCKS”). You want to see wtf it’s on about, but when you try, you need to like the page first (thus raising the e-peen of whoever made the page), complete over nine thousand surveys, sacrifice a dead goat, and beat a cheerleader to death with her own mini-skirt before you can even see what it’s about.
I will only like things I agree with on Facebook, I’m not completing a single damn survey, there aren’t any goats, alive or dead, around here, and the cheerleaders around here are actually pretty nice. Read the rest of this entry »
So, apparently, American Idol ratings have been dropping for a while. I personally don’t watch the show, so I don’t much care. I do care about stupid people though.

Remember about one post ago, when I did that custom Fortune script for my GMod server?
Well, I uploaded it. You can’t leech off my webserver because I don’t have the firepower for that, but the script is there for you to use on your own server.
I actually did something cool and custom for my GMod server. It involves some CGI on my webserver, some learning of the lack of standard Lua modules in Garry’s Mod, some pointless screaming, plenty of time in a text editor, some “What about this number?”, and installing a program that was apparently missing.
I also fixed the Player Titles, but that was just a capitalization error.

Gobble.
In case it wasn’t blindingly obvious, Turkey Day (also known to the government as Thanksgiving) is approaching.
Now, that means half the stores are all Christmas’d (sorry, “in holiday spirit”, fucking whiny asses), and the other half is working on it still. Read the rest of this entry »
I may have addressed 2012 in my old blog, but I don’t remember it.
Even if I did, my original impression was “A bunch of people realized ‘Hey! Mayan Calendar ends 2012! WORLD END AHHH!!!1′”. So, naturally, I scoffed.
Then I found this website. Read the rest of this entry »
I’m now running my blog as a WordPress on my personal site.
Fear not, my old and obsolete Blogger URL will not be deleted (unless Google decides to do so), so there’s still kind of an archive of old posts. As of a little bit after this post, lavacano.tk will be updated to have the new URL.
